A portion of the proceeds from Raleigh on Ice will benefit the Raleigh Rescue Mission, a local organization and shelter that helps those struggling during these difficult economic times. Just by spending a day ice skating, you can help local families and children in need.
In addition to providing a family friendly holiday activity for shoppers, the Raleigh on Ice ice skating rink is also environmentally friendly. The rink uses synthetic ice, a cutting edge technology that eliminates the need for the excessive water consumption and energy required to power a refrigerated rink, a great benefit in a climate where warm winter days are highly possible.
